Hawk Item - Played summer ball in the Central Illinois Collegiate League for the Quincy Gems

2008 - Appeared in four games... left handed hitters only hit .167 against him... hit no batters and threw no wild pitches on the year.

Before Iowa-- Played at Monmouth College in 2006 and Black Hawk College in 2007... earned academic all-American honor as sophomore.

High School--All-conference and all-area selection his senior season... was part of the 2005 Batavia High School conference champion team... two-time academic all-conference selection... earned two varsity letters in football and basketball...National Honor Society member.
