In recognition of his outstanding service and dedication to the University of Iowa Athletics Department, Bob has been named an Honorary Letterwinner.  As Iowa's 10^th Athletic Director, Bob earned a reputation as one of the most respected and ambitious Athletic Directors in the Nation.

During his tenure, he supervised the merger of the Men’s and Women's athletic Departments, the construction of the Roy Karro Hall of Fame, the Gerdin Learning Center, the multi-million dollar renovation of Kinnick Stadium, and numerous other athletic facilities.  His vision and focus have established the Hawkeyes as a national power.
