All nominations must be submitted to the Chair of the Awards Committee by March 1. Nomination must be made by a current dues paying member. Nominations should include as much relevant information as possible to enhance the possibility of a qualified nominee being selected to receive the award. The Awards Committee shall meet to review the nominations, and shall present the recommended recipient(s) to the Board of Directors for approval at the June meeting. All awards will be presented during the Annual Fall Varsity Club Weekend. If there is no nominee for an award that the Awards Committee and Board feel is deserving, then that award will not be given that year. While the Club appreciates and understands the significance of financial contributions to the University of Iowa Foundation and Athletics Department; these awards are not to be used as recognition for financial contributions.
